Today, NovaMarkina Photography shares with us this dazzling intimate elopement love story!
When Sarah and Stuart met at University, they would have never imagined that years later they’d be surrounded by friends, family, and flowers at one of the most beautiful and intimate ceremonies I’ve ever been lucky enough to be a part of! Though the weather forecast called for rain, that didn’t dampen the bride and groom’s enthusiasm for their special day, which took place at the sophisticated yet low-key London Club.
Sarah carried an absolutely gorgeous bespoke bouquet, which complemented the simple elegance of her vintage-style Nicholas & Elizabeth dress perfectly. Created by Something Blue Floral Design, the bouquet created a feminine and romantic look.
The bride’s sister wore the most perfect and pretty vintage dress emblazoned with beautiful birds. Stuart’s dapper grey tuxedo made him appear stylish and chic next to his elegant bride. The cozy ceremony was attended by only 60 of the couple’s closest family members and intimate friends, and Sarah’s smile after the vows were read says everything about the day with no words required!
At the reception, long harvest tables were decorated with swags of greenery and white roses to continue the streamlined, soft theme of the day. The white cake, decorated with baby pink roses, was made by Melrose Bakery and fit in perfectly with the minimal yet graceful wedding décor.
After the ceremony, we found an amazing grey wall behind the venue that provided a naturally charming backdrop for wedding portraits. Some unforgettable moments were captured, including a sweet laugh between the bride and her sister, a nuzzle between the newlywed couple, and some perfect family portraits that will forever remind Stuart and Sarah of their flawless, fashionable, and family-filled day!
