Thank you to Heather from HRM Photography for sharing this beautiful retro fun-loving romantic intimate wedding! I love the proposal story! I would've love to have been a fly on the wall to see that proposal because I LOVE legos too!
That cake! Seriously, it is AMAZING! Makes me want to battle Yoshi!
Crystal and Andrew had a beautiful intimate winter wedding at the Idlewyld Inn in London. We couldn't have asked for more perfect day - a fresh snow fall and bright blue skies! The bride's bride's bright coral and pink bouquet beautifully popped against the fresh white snow. as did the groom's coral tie. And when the couple needed to warm up a bit, they grabbed a big cozy blanket, a scarf, and some mittens.
The bride's sweet proposal story: Andrew proposed in my living room at my house. He made an exact replica of the first level of my home out of Lego. We always talked about having a retro game room in the basement. Drew came in from outside and told me that he had made some decor for our game room. So, he pulled out this little Lego land of my house, and within my house was two little Lego people - Lego boy was sitting and holding the ring, and the Lego girl was standing with her arms up in the air. So basically it was a replica of what we were doing in that exact moment, as he was down on one knee. The funny part is that he had to point out the Lego people - I was so amazed at the detail, that I started to sit down (while he was kneeling!) and looked at it. So he was kneeling but I didn't realize he was proposing in that moment, because I was so amazed at the Lego land of my home. So, I finally saw it and then he said "Crystal, will you marry me?" and I said "Yes"!
