Kitrina and Jordan's engagement images are full of joy! Their playful energy radiates and it shows!
Thank you to Aline Marin Photography for sharing this love story!
Kitrina and Jordan love to travel and explore the world together. Super fun couple! Can't wait for their wedding!
Here's their story...
Q: Let’s start at the beginning. How did you two first meet?
A: Jordan and I met in Boone, North Carolina, on our Goizueta Business School ski trip. Jordan was attempting to ski for the first time, and I was attempting to snowboard for the first time. Needless to say, both of us spent the majority of the trip falling down the mountain.
Q: What makes your relationship special? Tell us some things that you both value in your time together. (example: pushing each other to new limits, love to travel, huge comic book fans, foodies, etc.) What makes your relationship unique?
A: So many things make our relationship special and unique! We love travelling and trying new things whether that be trying different cuisines, breweries, or hikes. We also share a deep love for animals. We volunteer with a local puppy orphanage by fostering and helping at adoption events.
Q: How did you know your partner was the one? When did you first know this in your relationship? (these may often be the same moment, but aren’t always)
A: I knew Jordan was the one pretty soon into our relationship. We had gotten into an argument, but instead of making a big fuss about the issue (like what happened in previous relationships), he was calm and understood the situation. He handled and still handles himself in such a calm and cool manner, which has always made me appreciate the type of person he is.
Q: Give us all the details about the proposal. How and where did it happen? Was it a surprise? What was the planning process?
A: We were on vacation for our fourth anniversary in Maui, Hawaii, when Jordan proposed. He proposed at this little romantic cove, Makena Cove, at sunset on St. Patrick's Day. Coworkers had been telling me it was going to happen, but it was definitely a surprise!
Q: We’re all about the bling… Tell us all about that ring!
A: Jordan bought a beautiful princess cut diamond ring from a local Atlanta jeweler, Solomon Brothers. The diamond is paired with an elegant white gold band.
Q: Are you excited to start planning your wedding day? Do you have any ideas in mind yet?
A: Yes! I love weddings and am excited to be planning my own! We are having a colorful wedding at Monday Night Brewing's Garage in Atlanta, GA. We both love beer and doing things a little differently :)
