I'm in love with this Desert Christmas Styled Elopement from Ariel Miles Photography! So many beautiful elements displayed to bring this to life. You'll have to read below to find out where they found the wedding dress! Treasure find for sure!
This is what Ariel had to say about creating this styled elopement.
ox·y·mo·ron: (noun) a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction.
Setting up this sunrise shoot, we wanted to create something that was a little out of the ordinary. When you think of Christmas, you probably think of snow, christmas trees, red and green. When you live in the desert, there's not much snow to go around, so why not showcase what Christmas would be like in the desert? We all gathered in the early morning before the sun rose, doing hair and makeup by candlelight.... well ring lights I suppose. We traveled to the Lost Dutchman State Park before the sun had even had time to peek out over the mountains. As we set up all of our furniture and cake, Kaylin dressed in her wedding dress (a Goodwill find mind you) and Devon looked sharp in his blue suit.
Touches of Christmas could be found on the cake, her hair piece, bouquet, her dress, his tie, and boutineer. The sun finally peeked out from above the mountains and it was beautiful!
